Photoshop Tutorial - Make a wood texture effect

1. Make a new image. In this example has 200 x 200 pixels size. Use Paint Bucket Tool to change background color to Brown (heksa code: 996633).



2. Chose Filter - Noise -Add Noise menu. At Amount, fill with 60. Chose Gaussian and check on Monochromatic.



3. From Filter - Blur -Motion Blur menu. Type 0 (number) On the Angel edit box and 614 on the Distance fill box.



4. Chose Filter - Noise - Add Noise menu. Type 8 on the Amount.



5. Use Elliptical Marquee Tool to make an ellips on the picture.



6. From the Filter - Distort - Wave menu, change wave setting like the picture bellow:





7. To graceful this effect, chose Filter - Sharpen - Sharpen Edges menu.



8. On the bellow there are some example of wood effect to graceful the picture:
